KP Energy is one of Sweden’s leading wholesalers of solar energy, EV charging systems, and energy storage, and is part of OK-Q8 AB. KP Energy supplies products and services to hundreds of retailers in the Nordics. It has a quality-assured range of high-quality goods in cleantech, including solar panels, inverters, energy storage, and charging solutions for electric cars.

Core challenge

To reach its growth targets, which included a Nordic expansion, KP Energy needed to set a significantly higher ambition when it came to recruiting new and growing existing customers. In a pre-study, Remotion helped define a go-to-market strategy and recommendation on the digitalization of their sales and marketing initiatives.

KP Energy needed to increase their revenue and scale its operations through a Nordic expansion that was initiated in Q3 2023 when it entered the Finnish market. This initiative meant that KP Energy needed to prioritize their key segments and define its offer in each Nordic market.

To reach their growth targets, they also needed to set a significantly higher ambition when it came to customer acquisition and growing their existing customers. This involved defining and strategizing lead management and customer journeys, data collection & usability, as well as adapting & digitizing their sales and marketing initiatives.

Supporting KP Energy’s objective to increase its total revenues and scale its operations across markets and segments, a pre-study was carried out to define a go-to market strategy for all Nordic countries, as well as develop recommendations and a project plan on how to improve its initiatives when it came to digital lead management, customer development and sales.

The pre-study was executed during a 8-week period and gave KP Energy the right tools to take the next step in its expansion journey, which Remotion also received continued assignments in when it comes to both strategic and technical support.
